GST, PST and HST, kept separate
Canadian sales tax isn't one rate. Ontario charges HST; British Columbia charges GST and PST, reported to two different governments. A blended rate can't be split back apart at filing time, so MoveitPro+ stores tax as named lines and carries them, separately, from the Bill of Lading through the closeout to the invoice.

Connect your Canadian Stripe, Square or Authorize.Net account and set it to CAD. Deposits, card payments and crew collections then charge in Canadian dollars, and estimates and Bills of Lading print amounts with C$. See payment software.
Canadian holidays and units
- Set your holiday region to Canada and the calendar uses the Canadian statutory list: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving in October, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Boxing Day, plus BC's Family Day and BC Day.
- Mark the holidays you work every year, and add your own closures on top.
- Distances in kilometres, and weights in pounds or kilograms, set per branch.
Canadian phone numbers and texting
The phone system is built in. A Canadian company's number search starts on Canada: buy a local number in your own area code, or a toll-free number, from inside MoveitPro+ with no paperwork.
Business texting registers with your Canadian Business Number (BN-9). Canadian carriers filter unregistered business texts, and US carriers require registration before you text an American customer.
QuickBooks Online Canada
MoveitPro+ connects to Canadian QuickBooks Online companies, and sends every invoice line with the tax code a Canadian company requires. Turn on the tax split, match each of your taxes to its QuickBooks tax rate once, and invoices post with GST and PST on separate lines, so QuickBooks files them separately.
