“Does MoveitPro™ use terminology and buzz words that I won’t understand?“
MoveitPro™ uses terms and names commonly accepted in the moving and storage industry. We’ve also include a glossary of definitions, as well as the option to change default terms to ones more common in your company.
“What is the benefit of a web-based application?”
As a web-based application, MoveitPro™ offers secure, anytime, anywhere access to business critical information. Using a simple Internet connection, select managers and associates may log in to the system and access up-to-the-second information, track sales data, and manage employees, saving your company time and money.
“I have multiple offices. Does MoveitPro™ work for large organizations?”
Yes. As a web-based system, MoveitPro™ not only allows you to give multiple employees access to company data, but also enables associates to access that data securely from across the hall or across the country. Plus, with the ability to customize features and access for individual offices, you always maintain control of your company’s information. Our affordable pricing and extensive customizable options make MoveitPro™ ideal for organizations of any size.
“What is your per-user price?”
MoveitPro’s pricing is based on the size of your company not per user like others, all of our features are included for each of our customers.
Where is MoveitPro™ Located?
MoveitPro™ corporate offices are located in Central Florida, although our data centers are scattered across North America.
“Can the information I enter in MoveitPro™ be used in other applications?”
All reports from MoveitPro™ can be exported as PDF or Excel spreadsheets. These files can then be imported into most third party applications.
“Do I have to pay sales tax on MoveitPro™?”
It depends where you live. If you are a US resident, you do not pay any sales tax.
“Who owns the Data I input into MoveitPro™?”
You own all the data you input.
“What kind of technology is behind MoveitPro™?”
MoveitPro™ is a web-based application built on Ruby on Rails and MySQL, along with hundreds of other components. Its intuitive interface is easy enough to be customized by anyone, but its inner core is built on a system that even technology experts will love and appreciate.
“Where is my data stored?”
To ensure secure data access 24/7, MoveitPro™ uses the latest high-quality cloud servers and backup systems, hosted in multiple redundant secure facilities served by OC-48 fiber pipes thousands of miles apart. This setup is designed to be both robust and highly scalable, accommodating increased usage without service degradation.
“Does MoveitPro™ look at or share my proprietary data?”
MoveitPro™ does not view, analyze, share, or otherwise access any proprietary data entered by our customers. In fact, while customers may occasionally request that MoveitPro™ access their data to resolve a support issue, our technicians are unable to access that data without express customer permission. The MoveitPro™ data storage facility is kept separate from our company headquarters and uses a highly secure network to which only our technicians have access. The facility is designed to provide the highest level of data security and structural integrity, including protection against fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane, and power failures.
“How often is my data backed up?”
The servers for MoveitPro™ are backed up above and beyond any of our competitors. Our systems automatically backup all of your mission critical data every 5 minutes and retains a 90 day history. This means that in the event of a catastrophic loss, at a maximum you would lose less than the last 5 minutes of data. That said, to date we have not had any failure or loss of any kind. All data is sent to the cloud where it is spread across multiple database copies to ensure that business critical data is always secure. In addition, we regularly update and upgrade our security measures to prevent any unauthorized access, and encourage our customers to do the same.
“What if I want MoveitPro™ to destroy my information?”
If you no longer want MoveitPro™ to store your information, we can delete your organization from our database. Within 24 hours, all data about your company, as well as any entries you have made, will be eliminated from our active database, as well as server and tape backups.
“Who sets up my company information (employees, customers, prospects, and tasks) in MoveitPro™?”
The intuitive MoveitPro™ interface is so easy to use that nearly anyone can set up your company information. To simplify the entry process most companies designate one person to enter the initial input of client, job, and personnel information. Then as new jobs and clients come in, any user may be assigned this task.
